Mr. H. Ramdass’ Retirement

40 yrs of dedicated service Mr. Ramdass has served at Fatima College since 1970, so it was with a heavy heart when the entire Fatima community gathered in numbers into the St.  Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday 10th March 2010 to give ‘Sir’ an official farewell. Amongst all the experienced teachers who have been there side by side with him, since his arrival at Fatima we saw the “waterworks” coming from each and every one of them when the reality came in check, that they won’t see his happy face again. There was a small valedictory function held in the church itself, in Mr.  Ramdass’ honour after the mass. The funny thing is that the lower school  (Forms 1-3) were surprised that not one of the guest speakers had one derogatory comment to make about Mr. Ramdass. They all spoke very highly of this beloved teacher colleague and most of all friend.  Mr.  Ramdass, we, the student body, would like to formally thank you for devoting your invaluable service and dedication to our community, and although a new chapter in your life has begun we ask that you keep close to your heart us here in Fatima College. Please don’t be a stranger in these walls.

Thank you Mr. Ramdass.
