Form 1 Health and Fitness Day

The vision of Social Responsibility, a subject introduced in 2011 as part of the Form 1 curriculum, is to foster a sense of community spirit and responsibility in our young men as future leaders.
As part of the 2012-13 curriculum, the Form 1 classes engaged in a Health and Fitness initiative intended to teach them a more nutritious way to live. To accomplish this, the Social Responsibility teachers partnered with the Health Education Division of the Ministry of Health to advocate their “Health Promoting Schools Initiative.” Members of the Ministry visited the school in late May to conduct informative sessions with the Form 1 classes. These sessions comprised a Fitness Test, Nutrition Demonstrations, Blood Pressure testing and related videos and lectures.
